One of the things about living in Southern California is that I always forget that it gets cold in other places. It’s always weird to hear from friends and family in other parts of the country that it’s anything but 70s and sunny. And while this might sound awesome to most people (read: those dealing who have been dealing with snow since early October), I am a bit jealous of cities that get to experience cold weather.
It’s getting chillier here. Cold enough for these parts that it’s starting to feel like fall. It still doesn’t feel like Christmas is just right around the corner, but it is. So today we started our Christmas shopping and made out like bandits. Working for the company I do has some serious benefits. Namely: spending very little money and getting a lot of good stuff. That I will definitely miss when we finally move.
